On March 24, 1975, boxing fans witnessed an unforgettable showdown between two heavyweight legends, Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. In an epic battle that lasted 15 rounds, Ali triumphed over Wepner, retaining his heavyweight boxing title and solidifying his status as one of the greatest boxers of all time. Ali, also known as “The Greatest,” entered the fight as the reigning heavyweight champion, having secured the title for the third time by defeating George Foreman in the famous “Rumble in the Jungle” bout.
